Cecilia Cheung and Nicholas Tse’s rumoured pre-nup exposed, stating that if they were to divorce, Cecilia gets the children.
Superstars Cecilia Cheung and Nicholas Tse, like many Hong Kong and Taiwan celebrities, have reportedly signed a pre-nuptial agreement.
According to a China website, under a clause of the agreement, Cheung would get custody of the children regardless of the reason behind the divorce.
From the looks of it, the 30-year-old mother of two definitely has the upper hand in the marriage. Taking away his children would be more than unbearable for Tse, who grew up in a single parent family.
Pre-nup rumours aside, Cheung has been making a steady comeback since the birth of their second son, Quintus, taking up roles in five movies, including All's Well, Ends Well, bagging a total of HKD 46million ($ 9.2million).
The actress was also spotted last Thursday at an appearance for ORBIS Saving Sight Worldwide, where she donated HKD 1million ($200,000) to the foundation.
She did not accept any interviews last week despite her latest movie deals, which led many to speculate that it was to avoid clashing with news of Edison Chen's high profile comeback. But Cheung's camp said that she wanted the charity event to be the main focus instead.
